*This is the second time, although there might be more that I'm not remembering, that Kurt Busch has attacked Tony Stewart and/or his crew with a vehicle. I'm not sure what he's going to have to do to make NASCAR realize that he's out of his mind. If any of those things happened outside of the race track, there'd be a warrant out for his arrest. In my opinion, he shouldn't race tomorrow. The Shootout is a privilege and Kurt proves over and over again that he doesn't appreciate the amazing situation he's in.
*The racing should be awesome tomorrow night. I think DW's right, (wait, what??) that at some point, NASCAR is going to have to take a look at giving the cars more down force on the nose. I know that these are professional race car drivers and they should be able to drive anything. In theory, that's a great idea, but in reality, I'd rather see good racing. I think we'll see some action on that after Daytona though, because right now the racing looks great.
*I really appreciated the fact that neither Steve Latarte, nor Jimmie Johnson actually knew where they were getting a backup car after their wrecks in practice. Stevie thought they were bringing a car from Charlotte, (they weren't, they already had one at the track) and Jimmie only said that he was sure they had a good plan in place. He just didn't seem to know it, exactly. That's good stuff. I bet Chad Knaus knew where his car was...
*I'm not sure if Michael Waltrip just forgot what a race was or what, (I'm sorry, that was mean) but he was blocking and ducking and diving all over the place during practice. He wasn't the only one, but he definitely caught my eye.
I think that's all. Thoughts on practice? What about the Stewart/Busch incident?
