Denny talked like he was a ten year, respected veteran who had never touched another car in a harmful way tonight, which you know, news flash, he's not. I'm not sure what makes him think that a) He shouldn't be raced hard at all, or b) While racing in the Busch... Nationwide Series, his way should be paved by Busc... Nationwide drivers who should move out of his way at the first sight of his car. He's mad because Brad Kesolowski raced him hard and didn't race like a Cup driver who has years of Cup experience. Again, newsflash, that wasn't the Cup series. But by all means, stop ruining the... Nationwide Series by racing all the time if you don't like it. Take Saturdays off, it will help the series survive. And stop complaining.
The fight on pit road I thought was hilarious and well-deserved. I'm all for pit road brawls and driver-to-driver bitchfests. It's better than, say, messing up a car that the drivers don't have to fix after the fact. As always though, Dale Jr. and Brad acted with class that Denny and his team mate what's-his-face could take a few lessons from.
Gotta say though, class aside, I enjoyed seeing Junior letting Denny know he wasn't happy about his immaturity. He wasn't happy, he showed it-- without messing up his or Denny's car. What a concept.
All in all, I think that was a good, entertaining Busch race, although it was handed to whatchamacallit with that last lap caution. Someone was going to catch him, but we'll just never know who. Good stuff though. I hope the 600 is as entertaining as tonight's race.
