I've been impressed with Denny through this whole knee debacle, although I was a bit surpised he stayed in the car his first whole race back. Point proven, your tough. But he would have looked a little silly if he'd gotten hit just the right way while he was running one lap down to show he's a super-duper tough man.
Jimmie continues to either win or run ridiculously well. I almost wonder if we don't look at racing being good or not dependent on whether Jimmie wins. Even as someone who is an HMS supporter, I'm over it. Someone new needs to take over winning these things or people are going to tune out. It's not like everyone tuning in this week to see if anyone can beat Jimmie. They simple don't care when he's winning the way he has been. And let's not even talk about the bonus points the dude has racked up for the Chase already. And now HMS has all four cars in the top ten. Jeez. Although this Jimmie v. Jeff development is nice.
And that other HMS guy? Well, let's just say he's improving. Still not where he needs to be but some could say lightyears away from where he has been. And the beard's gone.
And then Mark Martin just keeps on keepin' on. And he will continue to do that way back 2011...
I know a lot of us talking on Twitter about the Kahne move to Hendrick and our first thougths when we heard. Junior fan's all over the place thought Kahne would be replacing Junior. And you know the sport and Junior are in a really weird place when his fan go, "OMG, they replaced the most popular, money making guy this sport has ever seen even though he's running way better than he ever has." I'm telling you people, we're not in Kansas anymore in NASCAR. It's a weird day when we're worried about Dale Jr's job security. Although let's be real. He's not going anywhere.
Okay, folks. That's it for me tonight. I'm really going to try to be back to normal. I know, same story, different verse. But I'm trying! And I miss you guys!!
Don't forget to follow Me and the gang on Twitter!
Have a good one.
